Bedrock first, then a model with Amazon’s name
Amazon launched Bedrock in 2023 as a place to call many houses through one AWS door — Anthropic, Meta, Mistral, Cohere, and Amazon’s own Titan. In 2024 it introduced Nova, a native Amazon family meant to sit next to those guests. Nova Pro is the capable seat. Nova Lite is the fast one. Guardrails is the product name for the policy layer. On Wrooms the desk is Bedrock: the Nova, the Guardrail, the permission. Not a shopping SKU. Not a VPC design.
Nova Pro and Nova Lite
Nova Pro is the deep seat. Nova Lite is the flash seat. You ask for a Bedrock plan, not a general AWS lesson. Phi is the small Microsoft model. NIM is the NVIDIA container. Bedrock is the AWS model plus Guardrails plus permission. Do not mix the three on one page.
Keys stay out of the room
The desk will not ask for a secret key or a seed phrase. Paste a role name, not a credential. That is the contract. Generic “how does storage work” stays with Sysadmin. Infosec stays house.
